What is #INVISIBLEBAG made of?

#INVISIBLEBAG is made of Polyvinyl Alcohol (known as PVA) together with plant-based starch. It is water-soluble, environmentally safe, non-toxic, biodegradable, compostable, marine & wildlife safe and leaves no microplastics.

Is #INVISIBLEBAG toxic and harmful to human beings?

#INVISIBLEBAG passed the estrogen equivalent (EEQ) test, shows no estrogenic activity,  it is confirmed to be environmentally safe and non-toxic, with no trace of harmful elements for humans, animals and nature. This test is conducted by Vitargent, an award-winning biotechnology lab testing company based in Hong Kong. EEQ test uses modified medaka embryos with jellyfish DNA, which is cruelty free, to detect the environmental estrogens and chronic toxicants.

Is #INVISIBLEBAG compostable?

All #INVISIBLEBAG are certified compostable according to the US Standard ASTM D6400, the European Standard EN13432 and JBPA GreenPla.

The ASTM D6400 is the North American equivalent of the European EN 13432, any material certified with ASTM D6400 and EN13432 is compostable, 90% or more of the material will have been converted to carbon dioxide (CO2) by micro-organisms within 180 days in ideal composting conditions, leaving no harmful residues behind.  And the remaining share is converted into water and biomass.

#INVISIBLEBAG is certified by the Japan BioPlastics Association, refers to products that are broken down by the action of microorganisms in the natural environment and which ultimately become carbon dioxide or water.

How to dispose #INVISIBLEBAG?

All #INVISIBLEBAG are water-soluble, biodegradable, compostable. We advise dissolving it in hot water by pouring 70 - 80℃ water in your sink for example, it will disappear completely in a few minutes without residues. Unfortunately, if it is disposed of in a natural environment, it also dissolves and biodegrades but at a slower path.

What is left in water after #INVISIBLEBAG dissolves in water completely?

After dissolution in water, the main ingredients which are PVA, starch, glycerin will remain in water in the form of liquid. Such ingredients will react with bacteria, enzyme, biomass and microorganism in the aqueous liquid and will convert into carbon dioxide and water.

Can I put #INVISIBLEBAG in home compost?

We have the certifications of ASTM D6400 and EN13432. Under industrial composting conditions, #INVISIBLEBAG material is composted for more than 90% within 120-180 days (50 to 60 degrees). Home composting is generally set for temperature between 25 to 30 degrees, therefore the process of composting will be slower, but ultimately the #INVISIBLEBAG will be fully composted.

What ink are we using for printing?

We use eco-friendly ink. No heavy metal, benzene, and ketone. Do not harm the environment. Our printed #INVISIBLEBAG passed the estrogen equivalent (EEQ) test to screen the chronic toxicants, shows no estrogenic activity. It is confirmed to be environmentally safe and non-toxic, with no trace of harmful elements for humans, animals, and nature.

Can I recycle #INVISIBLEBAG?

#INVISIBLEBAG does not contain any plastics, hence it does not fall into the recycling system. To dispose of it, just dissolves it in hot water!

Otherwise, we have ready-made #INVISIBLEBAG available online.

What can be carried in #INVISIBLEBAG and what is the load capacity?

#INVISIBLEBAG carries everything, but not suitable for wet items. The load capacity depends on the thickness and specifications. However, #INVISIBLEBAG has a high tensile strength!

What happen to #INVISIBLEBAG if it rains?

Temperature is the trigger point. #INVISIBLEBAG dissolves in hot water above 80 degrees celsius. But like paper bag, don't put under heavy rain.
